Features

Everything a post office needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

A drag-and-drop builder, tidy audiences, segments that keep themselves current, automations that run while you sleep, and a sending pipeline that guards your reputation. Here’s every room in the building.

  • Free up to 500 contacts
  • Plans from $9/mo
  • Sends from your own domain
  • Double opt-in built in

Email builder

Build it like a postcard, not a puzzle.

Drag blocks onto the page, click anything to style it, and watch it look right on desktop and mobile. No code required, and none in the way if you like code.

  • Heading, text, image, button, divider, spacer, social, logo, video and code blocks
  • Merge tags with fallbacks, like Hi {{first_name|there}}
  • A compliant footer that’s locked in place, so no email goes out without it

Email builder, in detail

  • Sections, rows and columns

Lay out one to four columns per row and drag whole sections to reorder. Duplicate anything with a click; undo anything with ⌘Z.

  • Global styles

Set your fonts, colors, link style and button defaults once. Every block follows, and per-block overrides are one click away.

  • Mobile, handled

Preview at phone width and set mobile padding and text sizes, so nothing is squeezed or tiny on a small screen.

  • Preview as a contact

See exactly what Priya will see, merge tags filled in, then send a test to up to five inboxes before the real thing.

  • Templates and custom HTML

Start from a starter template, save your own, or paste in HTML you already have. Your design stays yours.

  • Link checker

Broken or malformed links are flagged before you send, not after a subscriber finds them.

Audiences

Know your people. Every last one.

Every contact has a profile: how they joined, what they’ve opened and clicked, their tags and custom fields, and a consent record you can actually show someone.

  • Import a CSV, map its columns, tag everyone on the way in
  • Hosted and embeddable signup forms, with double opt-in on by default
  • Statuses that keep you honest: subscribed, pending, unsubscribed, cleaned
Illustration of a Mailmanny audience: a table of contacts with status badges, tags and star ratings, and a contact profile with consent details and an activity timeline.

Audiences, in detail

  • Imports that don’t bite

Upload or paste, match columns to fields (or create new ones), choose what happens to blank cells, and get a downloadable error report.

  • Forms with double opt-in

A hosted page or an embed for your site, with bot protection, a confirmation email and an optional welcome.

  • Custom fields

Text, number, date, birthday, dropdown, URL, phone and address, each with its own merge tag and default value.

  • Consent records

Source, time, IP address and the form they saw, kept for every opt-in. The receipts you hope you’ll never need.

  • Contact ratings

One to five stars from a documented formula: clicks relative to sends, with penalties for bounces and complaints.

  • Export and erase

Export any contact or list as CSV, and erase someone completely when they ask. Their address stays suppressed so they’re never emailed again.

Tags & segments

Segments that keep themselves up to date.

Describe who you want to reach once. Mailmanny works out who matches at send time, so new subscribers who fit are always included and people who stopped fitting never are.

  • Match all or any of up to 20 conditions, with a live count as you build
  • Filter on tags, fields, birthdays, signup date and source, status and rating
  • Campaign activity: opened, clicked or didn’t, across your last campaigns
Illustration of the segment builder: four conditions (tagged VIP, opened any of the last five campaigns, lives in Portland, birthday in October) narrow 12,408 contacts down to 61.

Tags & segments, in detail

  • Tags for everything

Add and remove tags on a profile, in bulk from a table selection, on import, on form signup or from the API.

  • Activity conditions

Was sent, opened, clicked or not, for one campaign or any of your last five, with machine opens excluded if you like.

  • Ready-made segments

New subscribers, engaged and disengaged are set up for you. Copy one and adjust it to taste.

  • Send to, and don’t send to

Target a segment or a tag, then exclude another, like customers who already bought this week.

  • Evaluated at send time

Scheduled campaigns resolve their segment the moment they send, never the moment you clicked schedule.

  • See who’s inside

Every segment opens as a filtered contact table you can sort, tag in bulk and export.

Automations

Set it once. Manny walks the route.

Welcome series, birthday notes, post-purchase thank-yous: build the route once on a visual canvas and every new contact who qualifies is taken along it, one step at a time.

  • Triggers: signs up, tag added, birthday, a date field, an API event or a manual add
  • Waits with send windows, yes/no splits, and wait-for-a-click with a timeout
  • Edit a live flow safely: changes are versioned, nobody is dropped
Illustration of an automation flow: when someone signs up, send a welcome email, wait two days, then check whether they clicked. Clickers get a first-cup offer and an 'engaged' tag; everyone else gets a reminder with a new subject line.

Automations, in detail

  • Triggers with filters

Every trigger can limit who gets in, using the same conditions as segments. Only VIPs in Portland? Done.

  • Delays that respect the clock

Wait minutes, hours, days or weeks, and only send on the days and between the hours you choose.

  • Branches

Split on any condition, or wait for a click, an open or a new tag, with a timeout and a path for people who don’t.

  • Actions beyond email

Add or remove tags, update a field or unsubscribe someone as part of the flow.

  • Starter flows

A welcome series and a birthday flow come ready to customize, so your first automation takes minutes.

  • Reports per step

See who entered, who’s waiting where, who finished, and how every email in the flow performs.

Campaigns & scheduling

Send now, or exactly when they’re listening.

A campaign is a checklist, not a maze: who it’s to, who it’s from, what it says and when it goes. Each line gets its check mark when it’s ready, and the send button only wakes up when everything has one.

  • Schedule to the minute, in any time zone you pick
  • Pause or reschedule until five minutes before it sends
  • Cancel mid-send, and the rest of the queue simply never goes out
Illustration of a campaign checklist with recipients, verified sender, subject, preview text, content and send time all checked, and a week calendar with the campaign scheduled for Thursday at 9:00 AM Los Angeles time.

Campaigns & scheduling, in detail

  • Pre-send checklist

Recipients, a verified sender, subject and preview text with counters, content and tracking, all checked before you can send.

  • Time-zone picker

Pick the zone that matters, whether yours or your audience’s. Times are stored precisely and shown in plain language.

  • Pause, edit, cancel

Change your mind up to five minutes before a scheduled send, or stop a large send while it’s going out.

  • Replicate

Duplicate last month’s newsletter, keep the design and the audience, and change only what’s new.

  • Test sends

Send to up to five inboxes, with merge tags filled from a real contact, before your audience sees anything.

  • Tracking and UTM

Opens and clicks on or off per campaign, and UTM parameters added to your links automatically.

Reports

Numbers you can actually read.

Delivered, opened, clicked, bounced and unsubscribed, counted from real delivery events. Every list can be exported, and machine opens can be switched off so the numbers mean what they say.

  • A 24-hour performance chart for every campaign
  • Top links by total and unique clicks
  • Who opened, clicked, bounced or unsubscribed, as lists you can export
Illustration of a campaign report (example numbers): 99.2% delivered, 48.2% open rate, 6.9% click rate and 0.2% unsubscribed, a 24-hour chart of opens and clicks, and the most-clicked links.

Reports, in detail

  • Headline numbers

Recipients, delivered, open rate, click rate and click-to-open rate, each with the count behind it.

  • Machine-open filter

Hide opens recorded by Apple Mail Privacy Protection and link scanners with one switch.

  • Link performance

Which links got clicked, how often and by how many people, ranked for you.

  • Activity lists

Sent, delivered, opened, not opened, clicked, bounced, unsubscribed and complained, each a click away and exportable as CSV.

  • Bounces and complaints

Hard and soft bounces and spam complaints, shown plainly. Those addresses are suppressed automatically.

  • Exports

Take your numbers to a spreadsheet or your own dashboards whenever you like.

Deliverability

Your reputation is our reputation.

Mailmanny sends from your own verified domain and guards the road between your outbox and their inbox with checks, limits and automatic clean-up.

  • Guided DKIM, SPF and DMARC setup that checks your DNS as it updates
  • One-click unsubscribe in every header and footer, processed instantly
  • Hard bounces and spam complaints suppressed automatically, forever
Illustration of domain verification: three DKIM records, a custom MAIL FROM MX record, an SPF record and a DMARC record all verified for pineandparcel.example, plus sending health meters showing a 0.4% bounce rate and a 0.02% complaint rate, both in the healthy zone.

Deliverability, in detail

  • Your domain, verified

Three DKIM records, a custom MAIL FROM and SPF, plus DMARC when you don’t have one. We never create a duplicate DMARC record.

  • Isolated sending

Every workspace sends with its own configuration, so one sender’s trouble never spills onto yours.

  • Checks before every send

Missing unsubscribe links, missing addresses, link shorteners and look-alike links are caught before they cost you.

  • Warm-up built in

New domains ramp up gradually over about two weeks, so mailbox providers learn to trust them.

  • Automatic suppression

Bounced and complaining addresses are never mailed again, across every campaign and automation.

  • A safety net

If bounces or complaints spike, sending pauses before mailbox providers notice. You’ll know why, and how to fix it.

For developers

An API that speaks React Email.

Send transactional email from your code, add contacts from your signup flow and start automations with events. The SDK has zero dependencies and returns { data, error } instead of throwing.

  • Send React Email components or HTML, with idempotency keys
  • Push a folder of React Email templates with one CLI command
  • Audience keys that can only add contacts, safe for signup forms
Code examples for the Mailmanny API, SDK and command-line tool.
import { Mailmanny } from "mailmanny";import WelcomeEmail from "./emails/welcome"; const mm = new Mailmanny(process.env.MAILMANNY_API_KEY); const { data, error } = await mm.emails.send(  {    from: "Pine & Parcel <hello@pineandparcel.example>",    to: "sam@example.com",    subject: "Welcome to the shop!",    react: <WelcomeEmail name="Sam" />,  },  // Retrying with the same key never sends twice.  { idempotencyKey: `welcome-${user.id}` },);
200 · queued{ data: { id: "em_8f2kq3…" }, error: null }

For developers, in detail

  • A familiar shape

Coming from Resend? Change the import and the key. emails.send, batch sends, scheduledAt, tags and headers work the same.

  • Scoped API keys

Keys are shown once, stored hashed and revoked instantly. Audience keys can only write contacts.

  • Templates from your repo

npx mailmanny templates push renders your React Email folder and uploads HTML and plain text in one go.

  • Events start automations

Track order.completed (or anything else) and every flow listening for that event takes it from there.

  • Retries that never double-send

Pass an idempotency key and a retried request returns the original result instead of sending twice.

  • Same safety rules

API email is scanned and rate-limited like campaigns, so nobody can sneak bulk mail through the side door.
