What you pay for

The fine print, side by side.

The list price is half the story. Here’s what each bill actually counts, and what happens when your list grows.

Who you pay for

MailerLite

Every subscriber who was active at any point in the billing cycle counts, even if you delete them later.

Mailmanny

Subscribed contacts, measured each day. Unsubscribe or remove someone and they stop counting; there’s no peak billing.

Going over your plan

MailerLite

Go over your subscriber tier and MailerLite upgrades you to the next one and charges your card.

Mailmanny

Nothing is ever charged automatically. We email you at 90% and 100%, signups keep coming in, and you choose when to move up.

Emails included each month

MailerLite

Comfort includes 10× the top of your subscriber tier. Power is unlimited, under fair use.

Mailmanny

Essentials includes 10× your contacts and Standard 15×. API emails come in their own separate pool.

Fair’s fair

Where MailerLite is ahead

  • Websites, landing pages and blogs in the same account.
  • Selling tools: digital products, paid newsletters and bookings.
  • More automations on its cheaper plan (50 on Comfort) and unlimited sending on Power.
  • Custom HTML, A/B testing and segments on every plan.

If you want your website and newsletter in one tool, MailerLite does both. If you want the email side to cost less as you grow, with nothing upgraded behind your back, Mailmanny costs less at every list size we checked.

Leaving MailerLite

Switch in an afternoon.

Most lists move in an afternoon. Your subscribers, groups and opt-outs come with you.

  1. Export your subscribers

In MailerLite, open Subscribers, pick the Active view, add the fields you want (Groups included) with Set columns, and export as CSV. Only account admins can export.

  2. Import your subscribers

Email, name and last name columns match themselves, and a Groups column becomes tags. Any other field becomes a custom field in one click.

  3. Bring your unsubscribes, too

Export the Unsubscribed view as its own file and import it as unsubscribed. Those people stay opted out and never count toward your plan.

  4. Verify your domain and send

Copy the DKIM, SPF and DMARC records into your DNS; we check them as they go live. Swap MailerLite tags like {$name} for ours, such as {{ first_name }}.
