Birthday email template

A cheerful birthday note with a treat to redeem this month.

Downloading and copying (HTML and Plain text tabs) need no account. In Mailmanny it opens in the drag-and-drop editor, block by block, on every plan.

Happy birthday, {{first_name|friend}}! — Happy birthday! A little treat from us is waiting inside.

Why it works

What makes this birthday email work.

Use it anywhere

Nothing locks you in. Take the HTML to the tool you already use, or send it from Mailmanny where the merge tags work as they are.

Copy or download the HTML
Every template comes as one HTML file with its styles inline, plus a plain-text version for inboxes that prefer it.
Paste it into your email tool
Use the HTML or code editor (in Mailchimp it’s “Code your own”). Change the words, links and photos to your own.
Swap the merge tags
In Mailmanny the tags below fill themselves in. Elsewhere, use your tool’s own: in Mailchimp, {{first_name|there}} becomes *|FNAME|* and {{unsubscribe_url}} becomes *|UNSUB|*.

{{first_name|there}}: The subscriber’s first name, or “there” when you don’t have one.
{{unsubscribe_url}}: The one-click unsubscribe link. Every marketing email needs one.
{{company_address}}: Your postal address, which the law asks for in the footer of marketing email.
{{view_in_browser_url}}: A link to the web version of the email.

The sample photos load from mailmanny.com. They’re yours to keep, but your own photos will always feel more like you.
